2002-2004: University of Ferrara PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Thesis: “Design, synthesis and biological evaluation of novel ligands for adenosine receptors”.

1995-2001: University of Ferrara Master degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology. Thesis: "Design, synthesis and biological evaluation of C9 substituted-pyrazolo[4,3-e]-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidines as new A2A and A3 Adenosine Receptors Antagonists" (final grade: 110/110 cum laude).

RESEARCH ACTIVITY AND SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION

The research activity of Professor Preti is focused on the design and synthesis of bioactive molecules of potential pharmaceutical interest.

As of May 2024, she has co-authored more than 100 publications on international scientific journals and 3 book chapters. She is also co-inventor in 3 international patents, 2 US patents and 6 Italian patents.
