He is Italian member of the Management Committee for the COST Action ES0601 “Advances in homogenisation methods of climate series: an integrated approach”
He has been involved within a number of national (e.g. “Reconstruction of the past climate in the Mediterranean area” and “CLIMAGRI”) and international (e.g. the “ALPCLIM” and “ALP-IMP” EU-Projects and the INTERREG IIIB “FORALPS”) projects.
He has authored or co-authored about 30 papers that have appeared in peer-reviewed journals
