July 1979: Classic study at secondary school named "S. Orsola", Ferrara, Italy.
A.A. 1983/1984: Degree in Biological Sciences (Genetics) at the Faculty of Science MM. FF. NN., University of Ferrara, Italy, with the experimental thesis: “La gliossalasi I in un campione di popolazione siciliana: una nuova variante rara”, with Prof. Italo Barrai and Prof. ssa Maria Beretta, as Tutors.
March 1986: habilitation in the State exam for “Biologo”, for registration in Professional Biology’s Albo.
June 1988, she has obtained habilitation for teaching in Natural Science Chemistry and Geography in the Statal Institute and Upper secondary school.
October 1989: she has obtained temporary post in secondary schools named “Liceo Scientifico Paleocapa" and “Liceo Classico Celio" in Rovigo (Veneto, Italy), teaching Natural Science, Chemistry and Geography.
October 1990-August 2001: she’s Techical Scientific Collaborator (VII Qualifica) at the Department of Biology - Section of Evolutionary Biology, Faculty of Sciences MM. FF.NN., University of Ferrara.
From the year 1991 she’s member of FISV (Federazione Italiana Scienze della Vita) and in the years from 1991 to 2000 she has attended every Congresses of A.G.I. (Italian Genetic Association).
She has a mention named “Cultore di materia” in Human Genetics (December 1991) for Degree in Biological Sciences; in Zoology (May 1993) for Degree in Natural Sciences; in Genetics (September 1995) for Degree in Biological Sciences: from these dates she has included in every exame commissions.
September 2001: she’s Researcher (SSD BIO/18, Genetics) in Department of Biology and Evolution at the Faculty of Science MM. FF. NN., University of Ferrara, Italy, where her main active researches is focused on the identification of candidate genes for complex diseases, like Gengivitis and Multiple Sclerosis.
