Main research interests:
The principal field of research is airway inflammation in asthma and COPD and the underlying molecular mechanisms and the pharmacological modulation. Particular interest The role of respiratory viral infections in stable/exacerbated obstructive lung diseases, and the underlying molecular and immunological mechanisms have been studied with particular interest. He has coordinated several studies, particularly in asthma and COPD on innovative strategies, prevention and treatments.
