Communication skills

Through collaboration with various institutions (Italian and foreign universities) and interaction with public and private  institutions I acquired the ability to listen, evaluate and discuss the management, development and research issues related to my specialization. Experiences in  university and private sectors as a teacher allowed me to acquired good communication skills and excellent availability explanations.  Highly specialized in analysis and field survey through Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing on landslides with geological and geomorphological analysis of causes and their 2D and 3D modeling.

Organisational / managerial skills

The specialization and the technical organization linked to the creation of geographical databases and database development, allowed me to be able to get organized and be able to organize groups and development projects related to both academic research and the best solution for private institutions. There are of course management skills jointed to experiences with companies and certificates of participation.

Job-related skills

Highly specialized in Geographic Information Systems commercial and Open Source and Remote Sensing. Analysis and field survey on landslides recognition and geological and geomorphological analysis of causes with their 2D and 3D modeling through specific software. Very good knowledge of various software packages for specific software on GIS, DBMS and CAD as well as various operating systems, open source software and programming. During the doctoral thesis and collaboration with Geotema I acquired considerable familiarity in analysis of satellite and radar images for the digital reconstruction of the terrain. The analysis of many types of images (Landsat, Ikonos, Lidar, TIN, etc.) allowed me to learn and be able to solve various problems related to the environment and landslide risk. Good  predisposition for the survey on field for geological, hydrogeological and geomorphological analysis. Little experience with SAR images software elaboration.
