-Isotope stratigraphy (carbon and strontium isotopes) for regional to global correlations

-The record (facies, biota and geochemical cycles) of Oceanic Anoxic Events in Mesozoic carbonate -platforms

-Micropaleontology of carbonate platforms (larger foraminifers)

-Sequence stratigraphy of carbonate systems.

-Carbonate geochemistry and carbonate diagenesis

-Carbonate petrophysics and applied sedimentology for characterization of hydrocarbon reservoir rocks.
