-Micropaleontology of carbonate platforms (larger foraminifers)
-Sequence stratigraphy of carbonate systems.
-Carbonate geochemistry and carbonate diagenesis
-Carbonate petrophysics and applied sedimentology for characterization of hydrocarbon reservoir rocks.
