CARLI STEFANO
Stefano Carli was graduated in Chemistry in July 2002 with 110/110. On March 2006 he obtained the Ph.D. degree in Chemical Science. He is currently a researcher at the University of Ferrara. During the Ph.D. he has been carrying out investigations related to the synthesis and photophysical characterization of supramolecular systems functionalized with photochromic groups aimed to the creation of rewritable optical memories, in the framework of the European Project MWFM (from Molecular Wires to Functional Materials). Since 2009 to 2013 he has been researcher for Dyepower Consortium at the University of Ferrara: the main goal of this partnership the industrialization of the dye sensitized solar cell devices. Stefano Carli has been involved in the optimization of the deposition of conductive polymers (PEDOT) onto TCO (transparent conductive oxide) and in the electrochemical characterization of the prepared electrodes by techniques as cyclic voltammetry and impedence spectroscopy. The scientific skills of Stefano Carli includes both synthetic and photoelectrochemical characterization techniques mainly focused on optoelectronic and photovoltaic devices. He is also involved in electrochemical surface passivation processes by polisiloxane treatments and in the photoinduced water-splitting.
