Curriculum

Born in Abano Terme (PD) in 1972, Sergio Ferro has a PhD in Chemical Sciences and works as a research assistant at the University of Ferrara since November 2000. From 2001 to 2005, he held lectures in “Physical chemistry of the soil” for the MaSTeM in Environmental chemistry; since February 2004, he is a member of the board of the following teachings: Lab. of Physical Chemistry I, Electrochemistry, and Colloid chemistry. Author of about fifty papers on international journals, co-author of two book chapters and of six patents, he received both national and international awards for the quality of his work (Electrochemistry Division award for the best PhD thesis, conferred by the Division of Electrochemistry of the Italian Chemical Society, in 2002; Oronzio DeNora Foundation Prize for Electrochemical Technology and Engineering”, conferred by the International Society of Electrochemistry, in 2003; “Top Performer”-award, given by the University of Ferrara to the ten “top performer” technicians of the year, in 2010).
