- Romano Adolini – architect and freelance designer Born in Nepi (VT, Italy) in 1956, graduated from the University of Rome (La Sapienza) Architecture School in 1982. After a brief period of apprenticeship in Rome, opened his professional office in Rome in 1984. Areas of expertise: architecture, architectural restoration, historic preservation. His built projects are mainly concentrated in the province of Viterbo, where he researches and carries out projects with strong ties to this geographical area and to construction techniques that employ tufo, the local stone. Beginning in 2000, attracted by ceramics as a material, he began working on the design of ceramic sanitary wares and bathroom fixtures for Italian companies on a freelance basis. To date he has collaborated with the following companies: Boffi, Flaminia, Galassia, G.A.L., NIC design, OLI International, Kerasan, Axa, Colacril, White Stone, and Cea. He teaches a course in Product Design as part of a degree program in Industrial Design offered by the Architecture Department at the University of Ferrara.
