Curriculum
Architect and specialist in Restoration, qualified as full professor ICAR/19 (CEAR 11/B), she is an associate professor of Restoration at the University of Ferrara, Department of Architecture.
She was a member of the Research Council and the Academic Senate (2009-2014).
She contributed to the creation of TekneHub Laboratory which affers to University of Ferrara’s Technopole, part of the High Technology Network of Emilia Romagna Region; member of the Scientific Council (since 2009) and deputy scientific director (since 2011) of the TekneHub Laboratory.
Member of the Academic Board of the PhD in Architectural Technology (2008-2013); since 2013, in the Academic Board of the International PhD in Architecture and Urban Planning.
From 2016 to 2024 she coordinated the internships for the Architecture Degree Course, with delegated authority for outgoing orientation; she coordinates the Joint Table for Professional Internships between Unife and Emilia Romagna Architects’ Federation (activated in 2020); she has been Unife delegated authority for Professional Internships in the non-health area (2019-2021).
She is the scientific director of Savonuzzi Archive, housed in the Library of the Department of Architecture, for which she has organised several initiatives and exhibitions.
Since 2021 she is director of the two-year Master's Degree Course in Seismic Improvement, Restoration and Consolidation of Historical and Monumental Buildings, of which she has been a lecturer and teaching board member since 2015.
Director of the School of Specialisation in Architectural Heritage and Landscape (since 2021), of which she has been a teaching board member and lecturer since 2019.
Former member of the Steering Committee of Architecture Degree Course, she is now responsible for the teaching area of Theory and Techniques for Architectural Restoration.
Since 2024 she is President of Clust-ER BUILD - Emilia Romagna High Technology Network, after having coordinated for over four years the Value Chain Innova-CHM (Innovation in Construction and Cultural Heritage Management), a working table of the same Clust-ER.
Her research activity mainly concerns theoretical and project fields related to conservation of existing buildings considered at different scales, from the urban dimension to architecture, with particular attention to the material history of built environment, traditional building techniques (between Middle Ages and Modern Age), finishes of historical architecture, Carthusian architecture and 20th-century buildings. She held roles of coordination and scientific direction of many research agreements about historical building and 20th century architectural heritage, joining and organising national and international scientific conferences. She is responsible for the Laboratory of Architectural Restoration Labo.R.A., a research facility of the Department of Architecture.
