SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY:
The main reseach interest of Prof. Paola Secchiero at the Department of Morphology and Embryology, University of Ferrara, Italy since 2000, mainly regards the study of molecular mechanisms modulating apoptosis in oncohematology, and the role of the TRAIL/TRAIL-R system in normal and neoplastic hematopoiesis as well as in the cardiovascular physiopathology.
