Main research activities:
She has made research about legal feminism, women's right and freedom, women's political and legal subjectivity, critical theories of law, contemporary debates on vulnerability and equality, compatibility between different juridical cultures, in particular referring to the arab-muslim tradition in juridicial/legal matters. She analysed issues rising from legal pluralism, multi-culturalism, tolerance; debates on universality of human rights, on the compatibility of the principles of rule of law, laicity and democracy (as far as developed in the western experience) with the legal arab-muslim tradition. She studied also arab-muslim feminism, judicial organizations and Courts, civil societies and civil activism in the Maghreb region.
