Main scientific interests: morphologic and functional analysis of lymphocyte subpopulations in normal and pathologic conditions, studies on human hemopoiesis in vitro and its regulation by cytokines, studies on fat tissue alterations in subjects under antiretroviral therapy, studies on the effects of molecules of the TNF-alfa super-family on the growth and differentiation of human cell populations (leukocytes, endothelial cells, myoblasts and myocytes).
Author of more then 60 articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
