  • Co-investigator in the monocentric study: Prospective, Randomized, Comparative, Multicenter, Post marketing Clinical Study of Bio-Hyalur LVD versus Viscoat Ophthalmic Viscosurgical Device to Assess Efficacy and Safety in Patients undergoing Routine Cataract Surgery at the Ophthalmology Unit of Ospedali Privati Forlì "Villa Igea"
  • Co-investigator in the monocentric study: Prospective, Randomized, Comparative, Clinical study to evalue safety, efficacy and refractive results of two different intraocular toric lens in patients with cataract and corneal astigmatism at the Ophthalmology Unit of Ospedali Privati Forlì "Villa Igea"
  • Principal Investigator in the research project: Sviluppo e validazione di una nuova formula basata sull’intelligenza artificiale per il calcolo del potere delle lente intraoculare impiantata durante l’intervento di cataratta at the Ophthalmology Unit of Ospedali Privati Forlì "Villa Igea". The project was funded with 6.000 € through the "Bando Giovani 2022 per progetti di ricerca finanziati con il contributo 5x1000" of the University of Ferrara
  • Principal Investigator in the research project: Development and Validation of a Novel Machine Learning-Based Intraocular Lens Power Formula for Cataract Surgery Combined with Endothelial Keratoplasty at the Ophthalmology Unit of Ospedali Privati Forlì "Villa Igea", the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro and the Southend University Hospital (UK). The project was funded with 50.000 € through the Pioneer Research Award Grant 2022 of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS).
  • Principal Investigator in the research project: Development and valIdation of an Integrated riSk prediction model for COrneal graft surviVal following Endothelial keRatoplasty: an artificial intelligence based approach (DISCOVER). The project was funded with 115.355 € as Progetto di Rilevante Interesse Nazionale (PRIN) 2022 in the sector LS5.
  • Co-Principal Investigator in the research project Pilot Study Testing a Hybrid Intra Corneal Prosthesis with Dehydrated Corneal Tissue Scaffold for the Treatment of Corneal Blindness (INTRA - KER). The project was funded with 226.791 € as Progetto di Rilevante Interesse Nazionale (PRIN) 2022 in the sector LS7.
