● RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Research activity of Luisa Pasti has been mainly devoted in the field of separation science. In particular, her activity in this field can be outlined as follows: a) theory of chromatography: development of the stochastic description of chromatographic separations and multicomponent separations: development of statistical tools for optimization of complex mixture separations, dynamic and reaction chromatography; b) analytical chemistry of bio-molecules and colloidal systems; c) retention mechanisms and characterization of adsorbent media; d) adsorbent and photocatalytic systems for water remediation; e) determination of contaminants in complex environmental matrix.
