Curriculum
Assistant Professor (GEO/05, Applied Geology and Hydrogeology) at Departement of Geosciences of the University of Padova since March 2011. MSc in Geological Sciences at the University of Ferrara in 2001 and PhD degree in Earth Sciences at the University of Ferrara in 2007, with an hydrogeological thesis on the evaluation and mapping of groundwater resources in Northern Appenines turbidites. From 2002 to 2011: research fellow at the Department of Earth Sciences University of Ferrara. From 2009 to 2010: co-lecturing in the geological and hydrological modeling course at the University of Bologna. Form 2012-present: responsible of the course in Applied Hydrogeology at the University of Padova. Advisor or Co-Advisor of 20 thesis in hydrogeology. Current research activity is mainly focused on: (i) hydrogeological parameterization, (ii) hydrogeological modeling, (iii) groundwater flow systems in fractured aquifers, (iv) relationships between surface water and groundwater and (v) impacts of tunneling on water resources. Co-author of 80 scientific papers or abstracts.
