Curriculum

Laura Sacchetti is Architect and Ph.D. Her research activities mainly focus on the topic of healthcare design and architecture and spaces for health. She graduated in Architecture at the University of Ferrara in 2021, obtaining a special mention and recommendation for publication for her Master Degree on Community Hospital design. In the same year, she obtained her qualification for the professional practice as Architect.

From 2021 to 2024, she attended the International Doctorate in Architecture and Urban Planning at the Department of Architecture, University of Ferrara, participating in several education activities related to academic research and Healthcare Design. She obtained her Ph.D. in 2025 with a thesis in the field of Architectural Technology (Area 08 – CEAR-08/C) focused on the development of support tools Community Hospital design in the Italian building process phases.

Since 2024, she has been a Research Fellow at the Department of Architecture, University of Florence.

As Cultrice della Materia (Subject Expert), she has been collaborating in teaching activities and supervision of master theses related to Architectural Technology (CEAR-08/C) at both the University of Ferrara and the University of Florence.

Since 2025, she is Adjunct Lecturer in Architectural Technology at the Department of Architecture, University of Ferrara.

She is affiliated with the Italian Society of Architecture Technology SITdA (Società Italiana di Tecnologia dell’Architettura) and the Italian National Centre for Hospital Building and Technology CNETO (Centro Nazionale Edilizia e Tecnica Ospedaliera), and she is member of the inter-university research centre TESIS.
