SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY

Research activities were carried out also as coordinator of scientific projects funded by MURST, CNR, AIRC, Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori, MIUR and Emilia Romagna Region.

Main research topics are on pathological and biomolecular characterization of solid tumors with particular focus on colorectal neoplasms and on molecular and therapeutic diagnostics.

Author of publications in prestigious international journals such as: American Journal of Clinical Pathology, American Journal of Pathology, Cancer, Cancer Cell, Clinical Cancer Research, European Journal of Cancer, Gastroenterology, Gut, Histopathology, International Journal of Cancer, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Modern Pathology, The Oncologist.

Author of 128 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and over 150 presentations at national and international meetings. invited speaker and conference moderator in numerous conferences and courses.
