Curriculum
Gianluca Mazzini was born in 1968. He received the Laurea and Ph’D from University of Bologna in 1992 and 1996, respectively. Since 1996 he had a permanent position in University of Ferrara. Since 1995 he taught courses on Telecommunications. He served as a tutor for 150 thesis and made supervision of 15 Ph’D students. He published more than 290 international and peer-reviewed papers. He served has IEEE Associate Editor for 9 years.
He managed 40 research projects, with the role of coordinator for 20. He served in 60 Technical Program Committee. He is IEEE Fellow. He was member in Scientific Council of: CNIT, GARR, Cento Technopole, Telematic Strategy for Emilia-Romagna Region, ASTER, Iperbole Wireless for the Municipality of Bologna, Guglielmo Marconi Foundation.
He served as R&S Director in LepidaSpA, as CEO in Cup2000ScpA, as member of Board of Directors in LepidaSpA and as member of Board of Directors in CNIT. Since 2009 he is CEO of LepidaSpA, transformed into LepidaScpA in 2019. Since 2019 he is a member of Board of Directors of Guglielmo Marconi Foundation.
