GABRIELE LELLI is an architect, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Florence.

Associate Professor of Architectural and Urban Composition at the Department of Architecture of Ferrara. He carries out research in the field of urban and architectural design, from the scale of the city, through the study of the settlement principles that generate it, to the detail of small spaces and small things that determine the atmosphere. He deals with sustainable architecture, urban regeneration and healthy city. In addition to the Faculty of Architecture in Ferrara, he has taught at the IUAV in Venice, at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio in Switzerland and in the Basque Country in Spain. Graduated with Adolfo Natalini, he carried out teaching activities first with prof Mario Zaffagnini, then, for a long time, with prof. Massimo Carmassi. In addition, for some years, he collaborated with the Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, Pritzker Prize 2009. He has given lectures and conferences both in Italy and abroad (Zurich, Barcelona, ​​Bilbao, New York, Detroit and others). In Ferrara he is responsible for the Final Synthesis Laboratory dedicated to degree theses in design. The theoretical-compositional research has mainly resulted in works and projects in the reality of the territory with constant work in the studio. The architectures are published in the main architecture magazines and have won national and international awards. They have been invited to the Venice Biennale in four editions. Their works are in the texts of the history of Italian architecture. In 2014 he founded the “Next City Lab” applied research group, active on the Smart City and Healthy City front of the Department of Architecture of the University of Ferrara.
