Curriculum
Fabio Conato, architect, graduated in Florence in 1991 with full marks and honors. Following the interests born during the studies, after graduation he undertakes numerous activities in the academic and scientific research, in particular in the construction materials sectors, construction systems, traditional and advanced and the control of building quality. Starting from the academic year 1994/95, he is contract professor in the main courses of the technological area at the Faculty of Architecture of Ferrara. Since 1999, he has been a researcher in the ICAR/12 disciplinary sector at the same faculty and since 2010 he has been associate professor of architecture technology (SSD: Cear-08/C, formerly ICAR/12) at the Department of Architecture of the University of Studies of Ferrara; As such is the owner of the chair of materials and design of construction elements. He carries out public and professional activities, trying to bring experiences in these fields to a functional and complementary line to the scientific interests mentioned.
