Architect, PhD, and non-tenured assistant professor, Sector CEAR 10-A, Scientific-Disciplinary Sector ICAR/17 at the Department of Architecture of the University of Ferrara, qualified as associate professor in Sector CEAR 10-A.
The research activity carried out within the framework of a non-tenured assistant professor (RTDa) at the Department of Architecture of the University of Ferrara has been and still is focused on issues concerning: the implementation of integrated digital survey protocols from different data sources (terrestrial laser scanner, drone; GPS; photogrammetry); the application of scan-to-CAD and scan-to-BIM protocols for the digital documentation of the built and cultural heritage; the integration of key enabling technologies (sensors, BIG Data, etc.) for the application of scan-to-BIM protocols; and the implementation of digital platforms for the visualisation and management of information of the intervention cycle on the built and cultural heritage from the architectural scale to the urban scale (CIM, City Information Modeling).
The topics mentioned above have been and are the subject of funded research activities, within the scope of which he is Scientific Responsible for Unife research units, both at national and international level. Moreover, she is the Scientific Responsible of the following research projects admitted to funding based on competitive calls for peer review: 1) Principal Investigator of the international research project, Erasmus Plus Action: KA220-HED - Cooperation partnerships in higher education entitled "CLOEMC VI - Common Learning Outcomes for European Managers in Construction VI", teknehub.tecnopolo.fe. it/projects/; 2) "BLOCH4MAT - BLOckCHain technology for ceramic and construction MATerials supply chain", CUP: E87G22000590007, strategic industrial research project funded under the Pr Fesr Emilia-Romagna 2021-2027 programme; 3) "INCITE - Inspiring City InformaTion modEling for urban resilience", CUP: D47G22000330003 strategic industrial research project funded under the Pr Fesr Emilia-Romagna 2021-2027 programme.
Concerning the same themes, she is also scientific co-responsible for studies and scientific research commissioned by qualified public or private institutions such as: 1) "Realisation of an information management plan and information integration protocols of the H-BIM model of Museo Galleria Borghese" in Rome, research commissioned by Museo Galleria Borghese, Rome; 2) "Geometric-informative implementation of the H-BIM model and implementation of the MEP model of Museo Galleria Borghese" in Rome, research commissioned by Museo Galleria Borghese, Rome; 3) "Definition of protocols for the integrated digital, geometric-morphological survey and HBIM modelling of the cultural heritage located in Verucchio, Rimini, with particular reference to the Rocca Malatestiana and the Civic Archaeological Museum of Verucchio, commissioned by the Municipality of Verucchio, Rimini.
In the same period, the activity started in 2015 as coordinator of the industrial research laboratory TekneHub Università degli Studi di Ferrara, Tecnopolo di Ferrara (teknehub.tecnopolo.fe.it) continued. The TekneHub Laboratory with administration c/o the Department of Architecture of the University of Ferrara is a research laboratory accredited to the High Technology Network of the Emilia-Romagna Region (www.retealtatecnologia.it) to which structured and unstructured personnel (currently units: 43 structured personnel and 20 dedicated personnel) of 7 departments of the University of Ferrara belong. As coordinator, it is also responsible for maintaining regional accreditation.
The teaching activities carried out as Researcher was conducted, in line with the research areas described, first and foremost in the context of the teaching of institutional degree courses at the University of Ferrara, in particular Degree Course in Industrial Product Design, 1st and 3rd year; Degree Course in Architecture 2nd year.
