I received the Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Computer Engineering at Università degli Studi di Padova in 2006 and 2010 respectively; in the meanwhile I worked at INFN (The Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics) thanks to some fellowship programs.

After my M.Sc. I attended for some months the B.Sc. courses in Physics at Università degli Studi di Padova, then I obtained a PhD student position in Computer Science at Università degli Studi di Milano and thus I interrupted my physics studies.

In Milan I worked mainly in the field of SSVEP based Brain-Computer Interfaces and EEG signals acquisition/processing, but I worked also in the fields of Computational Photograpy, Computer Vision, embedded hardware and MEMS sensors.

At the moment I am back at INFN, in the Ferrara branch, as a postdoctoral fellow and I am working on the development and optimization of computational physics codes for high-performance architectures.
