Associate Professor in "Technological and Environmental Design of Architecture" (Academic Discipline ICAR-08). Graduated with honors in Architecture (2005) from the University of Ferrara. Ph.D. in "Architectural Technology" (XXI cycle, 2009) from the same university, in collaboration with IUAV of Venice and the University of Bologna, with a dissertation titled "Strategies for the Redevelopment of Social Housing Built in Italy in the Second Half of the 20th Century." Registered since 2006 with the Order of Architects, Planners, Landscape Designers, and Conservators of Ravenna. Certified Energy Assessor for the Emilia-Romagna Region (since 2013). Professor of "Detailed Design" and "Environmental Design" at the Master's Degree Program in Architecture at the University of Ferrara. Previously taught "Smart Spaces Design." Since 2020, member of the Academic Board of the IDAUP (International Doctorate in Architecture and Urban Planning) at the University of Ferrara and Polis University in Tirana (Albania). Member of the LEM Research Laboratory (Laboratory of Architectural Technology) since 1996, involved in national and international research on technological innovation, energy efficiency, building processes, and strategies for the redevelopment and enhancement of the building stock (including cultural and historical heritage). Ordinary member of SITdA (Italian Society of Architectural Technology) since 2009, currently serving as the site coordinator for the clusters "Reuse, Redevelopment, and Maintenance" and "Living." For SITdA, he has also been appointed Delegate for the Third Sector Commission (Production, Professions, Public Engagement, Organizations) starting in 2024. Has been engaged in professional training since 2015 as an instructor in courses funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region for "Senior Technician in Energy Savings in Sustainable Building and in the Qualification and Redevelopment of the Building Stock," held at the Higher Technical Institute "Territory, Energy, and Building" in Ferrara. For these courses, he serves as Coordinator of the "New Construction and Redevelopment of Existing Buildings" sector and, since 2018, as a member of the Scientific Technical Committee as a representative of the University. Instructor for the program Infrarealities – Unraveling the Management and Maintenance of the Urban Condition at the International Institute of Architecture I2a (Lugano, Switzerland) in 2013-2014. Co-founder in 2020 of the innovative start-up INCEPTION S.R.L. (https://www.inceptionspinoff.com).
