Curriculum

She received her first level degree in computer engineering and automation at the University of Ferrara in October 2006 with the thesis "Optimization of network resources in the RER InSeBaLa project: models, simulations and dynamic analysis of the best bandwidth paths ".

In October 2008  receives at the same university the Master degree with a thesis titled " Efficient Systems with Authentication for Digital TV".

Thanks to the study of MHP services for digital terrestrial television obtains, from November 2008, a collaboration contract for a period of one year at Lepida SpA, working at the LepidaTV project where she deepened her studies in Digital Terrestrial Television and Audio / Video fields.

She obtained in 2012 a PhD in Engineering from the University of Ferrara, with a thesis entitled "Architecture, services and multimedia in new media". The PhD research is mainly devoted to the study of self-adaptation of audio-visual content and information based on the channel of transmission. The issues are mainly dealt with: DVB-T broadcasting, IPTV over NGN networks, development of MHP services without the use of the return channel, simulcast, live streaming, platforms for the collection, standardization, aggregation and sharing of heterogeneous data.

Since January 2010 is employeed in Lepida S.p.A. and works in the "Research & Development" area  where, in the last two years, has mostly dealt with the development of a service dedicated to the storage, conversion, adaptation and diffusion of multi-media content, and the management of schedules for live streaming and IPTV.

Among the main skills acquired: OpenSource tool dedicated to the management of audiovisual content (VLC / ffmpeg / ffserver / mencoder) and images (IIPImage / imagemagick), LAMP, Java, Javascript, Jquery, bash scripting, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 .
