MAIN RESEARCH TOPICS IN CLINICAL AND CELLULAR BIOCHEMISTRY: Kinetic, structural, and molecular characterization of metabolic enzymes; in vitro studies on the mechanisms of modulation of Redox processes in neurological diseases; cross-sectional and longitudinal population observational studies on the association between oxidative damage, plasma lipoprotein function, inflammation, vascular damage, and the following diseases: Alzheimer's disease, Vascular Dementia, Autism, Diabetes, Rett Syndrome, osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases.
