1997-1999: Fellowship at the Institute of Microbiology, University of Ferrara.
2000-2002: F.I.R.C. fellowship at the Department of Morphology and Embriology, Section of Human Anatomy, University of Ferrara.
2005: Ph.D. in Endocrinological and Biomedical Sciences, at the Department of Morphology and Embriology, Section of Human Anatomy, University of Ferrara.
From November 2006: Assistant Professor of Human Anatomy, at the Department of Morphology and Embriology, Section of Human Anatomy, University of Ferrara.
From October 2012: Assistant Professor of Human Anatomy, at the Departemnt of Morphology, Surgery and Experimental Medicine, University of Ferrara.

The research activity has been mainly focused on:
1) Study of survival/apoptosis and differentiation of hematopoietic progenitors;
2) Study of signal transduction pathways involved in the omeostatic control of hematopoietic and lymphoid systems;
3) Functional analysis of endothelial cells of different vascular districts.
4) Study of stategy to by-pass the resistance to apoptosis in neoplastic diseases.
