The CoReS Techno Lab (Laboratory of Controlled Release Systems Technology) is a part of the Life Sciences and Biotechnology Department of the University of Ferrara. We are specialized in the design and development of drug delivery systems aimed to control drug release, prolong the therapeutic activity and/or target drug release to specific organs.

These forms are suitable for application in pharmaceutical, veterinary, cosmetic, biotechnology, odontoiatric and nutriceutical fields.

CoReS Techno group possesses a know-how based on the use of biomaterials to nano- and microencapsulate a wide range of molecules.

Nano- and microencapsulation aim to include active components in microspheres and microcapsules to ensure their immobilisation, protection, controlled release and functionalization. The microencapsulation market covers all areas of our life from car manufacture to artificial organs, from pesticide application to computer design.

We offer applied research and technical assistance, as well as the development of new products on demand.
