The homogenisation of Neumann problems for quasilinear elliptic operators on domains with perforations concentrating on a surface M is proved to lead to a measure-theoretic transmission condition across M. We characterise the class of measures that can occur in this limit process and we relate any such measure to the operator and the perforations by a representation formula.
