Laurea in Mathematics and proclaimed Doctor in Mathematics at the University of Ferrara on November 15, 1978 (110/110 cum laude).
Positions held:
15.6.1979 - 14.6.1982: grant of the Italian Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche at the University of Ferrara.
1.11.1982 - 30.4.1983: grant of the Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica.
1.5.1983- 31.10.1999: Full Researcher of Mathematical Physics at the University of Ferrara.
1.11.1999 - 31.10.2006: Associate Professor of Mathematical Physics at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Udine.
1.11.2006 - 31.10.2012: Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ferrara.
1.11.2012 - present: member of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.

Research interests:
variational principles, initial-boundary value problems, discontinuity waves, energy behavior, principle of Saint-Venant in regards to inextensible elastic solids, mixtures of solids and porous media, hydrodynamics and magnetohydrodynamics, magnetoconvection, magnetoelastic solids, piezoelectric solids, micropolar fluids, nanofluids. Exact solutions in hydrodynamics.
The results are objects of 61 papers.
