Elena Marescotti, after her degree at Ferrara University (1997/1998), has achieved the European advanced qualification in “Assigned to the Didactics and communication” and in 2001 was post-graduated student at Ferrara University in “History of education”.
From 1999 to 2001 she was voluntary assistent at Ferrara University and collaboration contract holder; since 2001 she is Researcher at Ferrara University, where she is still teaching “Education of the adults”, “Education”, “Didactics of Sciences of education” at Specialization Courses for Teachers Training.
Now she is member of SPICAE (Sodalitas Pro Investigatione Comparata Adhesa Educationi) and secretary-treasurer of SPES (Società di Politica, Educazione e Storia).
Her main lines of research are:
- educational problems of narrative languages;
- history and historiography of education;
- aspects of educational epistemology and of school theory;
- education af adults
- ecological education
- education and politics.
She is among the collaborators of Italian and foreign educational journals and she published essays and articles and is the editor of many miscellaneous books.
